Firozabad, the City of Bangles
Every bangle starts as raw glass in our own furnace.
We melt it, shape it and finish it ourselves. Nothing here is bought finished from a market and relabelled — the price you pay is the work in your hands.
The Alchemy
How we craft perfection
Three stages, all of them under our own roof in Firozabad.
-
Melting the glass
We heat raw glass in traditional furnaces at high temperatures until it runs clear. Clarity is decided at this stage, and nothing later in the process can put it back.
-
Shaping by hand
Master workers use traditional tools to shape the glass into bangles. Because the round is set by hand, sizes run to the chart but never to the millimetre, and the depth of colour shifts a little from one piece to the next.
Sizes 2.2 to 2.8 are inner diameter in inches and sixteenths — 2.4 is 2 4/16 inch, or 2.25 inches.
-
Final details
We add crystals and gold plating by hand for a beautiful shine. It is the slowest part of the work, and it is why stone placement is never identical: hold two bangles from one set side by side and you will find the difference.
Every bangle is crafted by skilled hands in our Firozabad workshop.
What this means for you
Handmade, and what that looks like in the box
Work done by hand carries small differences. Here is where you will see them, and what we do about the ones that matter.
-
Colour varies between pieces
Two sets in the same shade will not match exactly, and one set can run a shade deeper at one end than the other. That is the furnace and the hand, not a defect, and it is not something we treat as a fault.
-
Sizes run to the chart, set by hand
Read the size guideMeasure before you order. Sizes 2.2 to 2.8 are the inner diameter in inches and sixteenths. We do not offer a size exchange, so getting the measurement right before you order matters.
-
Glass breaks. We cover it
Refund policyIf a set arrives broken in transit we replace it free. We need one continuous, unedited unboxing video, sent within 48 hours of delivery, to do that, so start recording before you open the parcel. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days once the return is inspected.
